171-173, Sun-Tue

Sundays are always fun since you have so many "aunties" and "uncles" to play with you at church. This Sunday Mr. Tony took a picture of you using his fancy app thingy and it makes you look like you're hitting the big times in the Big Apple. My baby's famous!

Monday and Tuesday have been a blur of activities and errands. First we took you to the grocery store and you inspected the fruit. Lately you've been wanting to touch everything and shove it into your mouth.

Then we went to Ikea where you continued to sample goods.

Dad likes to wear you in the moby forward-facing. You guys are quite the 2-headed pair.

We also started you on a new food--sweet potatoes. You made this face (see pic) and didn't want anymore after a couple bites. I think it was too thick so I'll dilute it with water next time.

You love to "feed yourself" by grabbing the spoon and shoving it into your mouth. You're such an enthusiastic eater! Also, every time you see me drink you get all agitated until I put the cup up to your mouth and let you lip it.

Tuesday we went to Baby Jack's house for "Milk and Cookies", where new mommies gather and socialize. It should really be called Mimosas and Cookies because that's what we really had. Here's me and Baby Jack--he's 1 week older than you.

Baby Jack has a beautiful house full of cool toys, like this jumpy-thing. We put you in it, but you didn't seem too happy. You fussed after 30 seconds, but maybe it was because you were tired.

Incidentally, I love asking moms if they want to "trade" babies. They always get the raw end of the bargain cuz you are bigger and heavier than everyone. Here's me holding little Ben, who at just 10 weeks, is as light as a feather!

Lately you've been waking up a lot after we put you down to sleep at 6pm--almost every hour! I don't know why you're so wakeful, but I don't think it's because of teething since you seem to sleep okay after 9pm. Poor wakeful baby.

Also you've been exhibiting "stranger anxiety" and separation anxiety. When your favorite babysitter came to see you Monday you wailed your head off when she tried to change your diapers. It's strange since you've known her ever since you were 1 month old and you love playing with her every week. This makes me very nervous about going back to work.

I want a Moby! That looks so cool! How is it on Michael's back? Also, Baby Jack seems like a 95% too.

Ha, yeah, Baby Jack is quite the bruiser. Although his body felt a lot leaner than Judah's--pure muscle. The Moby is definitely the easiest on Michael's back--he likes it a lot more than the ergo.
